About Me

My name is Julie Berry and I am a Pagan witch, but I don't wear pointy hats and I refuse point blank to cackle on demand!

I was born into the Wiccan religion, and so I have always been surrounded by magic and what others would call "spooky goings-on" but they are just everyday things to me.

Early on in life I developed a love for crystals and minerals and wanted to be a geologist, but as I am not clever enough to be in university I became a crystal healing therapist instead.

Over the years I studied Tarot and Oracle decks and Norse runestones and more and more people asked me to do them a reading, and so I thought that I would make a website to advertise my services....that was 7 years ago and in 2006 this site was born - I've never been good at doing something straight away!

My love of crystals led me to start making basic pieces of jewellery for clients to wear when they went away from healing sessions, and so Chrisam Crystals was born.

Writing has also been a passion of mine since my schooldays, and I have always harboured a desire to share my knowledge of Paganism and related subjects with others.

I have written articles for several magazines and also for the Pagan children's website, Broomstix. For some time I wrote for "Paranormal" magazine, and now I am on the in-house writing team for "Vision" magazine - check out my monthly hints and tips, and also the "Destiny Diary" where you will find special dates throughout the month.

Hopefully it won't be long until I write a best selling book!
